Ariana is a beautiful name!

Hi Ariana,

My name is Alexis and I am friends with Olivia's mom Katherine. I live on the other side of the country from you in California in a city called San Francisco. San Francisco is where the Golden Gate Bridge is. Do you know about the Golden Gate Bridge? It is painted a vibrant red and is just so beautiful as it spans from one green hill to another. People come from all over the world to see this bridge. Can you believe it! I have included a picture of the bridge so you can see how wonderful it is. What is so cool about it is that sometimes it gets covered with fog and you can only see the tops of it poking through the clouds.

Enough about me, back to you! I helped create this site for you so you can chat with all of your friends in school while you are at home getting better. Think of this as a journal where you can write about what you are doing and also share pictures with your friends. I think you are a brave little girl! My cousin, Danda, who is older than you, but a strong girl just like you is also trying to get better as she gets treatment for her cancer. I have already told her all about you.

Ariana, keep your chin up and know that we are all thinking of you and your family. From what I can tell your mom is going to take great care of you while you are home. Think of all the time you get to spend with her-that is pretty great!
