When are you coming back?

Hi Ariana!

I really miss you. I heard you were coming back to school soon, is that true? Ms. Riley is a really great teacher. And all the kids in our class are really nice. And every Friday we clean the room, and it's really fun - we sing "It's a hard knock life" from the movie, "Annie." And guess what? I saw the movie "Annie" this weekend. Have you seen this movie? We're doing a new project in art class. I'm going to bed now. So bye from Ana!

Maine

Hi Ariana I am going to tell you more about Maine. In Ram Island we met a few pepole. One boy about my age and a mom and dad. I went down in the bottom flore it is so cool! It's kind of like vampire's live there. It's dark and kind of cobweby in the corners. It had big chair's.It had a big rug under the table and chair's. That's all i'm going to tell you for now. Love Olivia

How to post!

Hi Ariana,
So exciting to hear you went to the playground! You must be feeling a bit better. I thought I would write today to let people know how to write to you on here if they don't know yet.

Anybody who wants to post and isn't already "invited" should just send me an email telling me who you are and that you would like to get an invitation to Ariana's blog. I'll send you an invitation and directions. My email is kbgamble@gmail.com. You can also email me if you are having any problems with the blog. I'm no expert, but I'm learning more every day! My friend Alexis, who started the blog for us, is a little busy right now with her own family illness, so I'm your best bet.

Best to all,
Katherine

I heard you were here....

Hi Ari!

I heard through the grape vine that you were in the park yesterday after school.  I am so sad i didn't get to see you and mommy.  I haven't been to visit because my house has some germs; johnny had a cold last week, now Liss and her Dad have it and I think I have allergies but it could be connected???  So just in case I didn't want to bring germs to your house, that wouldn't be a good thing for you.  I miss seeing your smile very much!   I hope to see you soon and be able to give you the big hugs and kisses I promised.

Keep getting better!!!!
Love,
Denise

Hi Ariana,
Did you like the Diva puppies? We miss you and can't wait to see you again. Ms. Riley is really great. Here is a picture of my new brother Malcolm. He's a newborn in the picture but now he's really fat. Cece asks about you all the time!
What is your favorite thing to eat? What is your favorite movie?

Last Day of Summer Greetings from Ms. Delacruz

Greetings to you, Miss Ariana!

I'm so glad we've got this blog set up so people can send you messages and stuff. Would you believe that our family desktop computer is out of order and that I have to work on a laptop whose screen goes blank unexpectedly? It's kind of tough writing and all of the sudden, poof, the screen goes white.

But all of these difficulties don't compare to what you're fighting against. You've got many people keeping you in thought and prayer. And some how I know I'll be seeing your smiling face back in the computer lab some day.

Can you believe it's the last day of summer? I'm going to miss the soft, warm breezes as well as not being able to wear shorts, short sleeve tops and sandals. We've got a change of seasons with changing leaf colors and crisper breezes. Time for collecting leaves and getting ready for Halloween.

Tomorrow I'll be working at the Computer Lab at school. I've got two kindergarten classes and maybe the new music teacher for grades 3-8, Mr. Watts, will come in with some middle schoolers.

Keep in touch!

Love, Ms. Delacruz

Dear Ariana

Ariana, I am going to tell you more about Maine. But first I’m going to ask a few questions. How are you doing? I’m fine. Have you been to Maine before? In Maine we stayed at Wagon Wheels. It’s late now so I’m going to stop typing now.
Love,
Olivia

Hi Ariana!

It's pretty late right now so I hope you are sleeping. Anthony and Stephanie are asleep which is why I have a minute to write to you! I was sorry to hear that the medicine made you feel kind of yucky today and I hope that tomorrow you will feel much better. We can't wait to see you and watch you play at the Morse park after school. Well, it is getting late for me too. It's time for me to go to sleep now, but we will write to you again tomorrow. Goodnight Ariana !

Keep in touch!

Hi Ariana!

This is Olivia's mom, Katherine. Olivia's in bed right now, but I wanted to get a chance to write to you before you woke up, so you can read this during your day. Your mom has kept us all up to date on how you have been doing, and you have been SO BRAVE. I cannot believe how fast you got back to your smiling self - I know it made your mom so happy.

My friend Alexis set this page up for me because I thought it would be nice if you and your friends and classmates at Morse (and anybody else!) could keep in touch while you are getting better if you can't make it to school. She made a page like this for my friend, Danda, and everybody writes all the time!

I am attaching a picture of Olivia from this weekend. She really really likes to climb. Did you know that about her? She's always on TOP of the monkey bars at the playground.

I can't wait to see what you have to write. I'll bet you become a real computer expert soon!

Love,

Katherine

Ariana is a beautiful name!

Hi Ariana,

My name is Alexis and I am friends with Olivia's mom Katherine. I live on the other side of the country from you in California in a city called San Francisco. San Francisco is where the Golden Gate Bridge is. Do you know about the Golden Gate Bridge? It is painted a vibrant red and is just so beautiful as it spans from one green hill to another. People come from all over the world to see this bridge. Can you believe it! I have included a picture of the bridge so you can see how wonderful it is. What is so cool about it is that sometimes it gets covered with fog and you can only see the tops of it poking through the clouds.

Enough about me, back to you! I helped create this site for you so you can chat with all of your friends in school while you are at home getting better. Think of this as a journal where you can write about what you are doing and also share pictures with your friends.
I think you are a brave little girl! My cousin, Danda, who is older than you, but a strong girl just like you is also trying to get better as she gets treatment for her cancer. I have already told her all about you.

Ariana, keep your chin up and know that we are all thinking of you and your family. From what I can tell your mom is going to take great care of you while you are home. Think of all the time you get to spend with her-that is pretty great!

Much Love,

Alexis
